Leah Bass-Bayliss M.A. M.S.

is the Dance Adviser to the Los Angeles Unified School District Arts Education Branch. Directing the LAUSD arts prototype program in dance has allowed Leah to implement dance education Standards in the public schools. She has a unique dance background in both academic studies and professional dance performance. Leah has two master degrees, one is an MA in Special Education from Columbia University Teachers College in New York and her M.S. is in Educational Administration from Pepperdine University. She holds a BA in Child Development from Spelman College.

Ms Bass-Bayliss has an extensive career as a dancer, singer, and actress appearing in such musicals as "Guys and Dolls", "Chicago", "A My Name Is Alice", "Arms Too Short To Box With God", "Ain't Misbehavin", "Black Nativity" and "The Tap Dance Kid".
