FACULTY MEMBER
Beth Buchanan, MA, MFT, BC-DMT
is a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist, and a licensed Marriage Family Therapist, who works in private practice and as an MFT and DMT supervisor. She has utilized movement therapy for 21 years since completing her DMT training in California, and continues to use Chacian and Authentic movement forms.
In private practice she weaves the knowledge gained from nonverbal and verbal therapy with specific skills in somatic trauma resolution, EMDR, and bodywork. She has specialized in work with children since 1989 as well as parents, couples, and individuals often around the common issues of trauma and attachment. Teaching and supervising have become some of her favorite roles.
