Liza Savage-Katz

Liza Savage-Katz is a professional yoga and Pilates instructor. She has been teaching yoga and Pilates for over two years. She recently moved to Los Angeles from London, England where she has studied and practiced yoga and Pilates for the last 6 years. Liza was also a competive rower in England and practices a variety of sports including cycling and rock climbing.

Liza received her yoga certification in Hatha Yoga in Kathmandu, Nepal and a Yogafit certification in New York City. She has also studied with a variety of yoga instructors including, Guru Sri K Pattabhi Jois recognized Astanga Instructors, John Scott in England and Matthew Sweeny in Byron Bay, Australia. She trained in Mat Pilates in New York, London, and recently in LA. She also recently received certification in Traditional Thai Massage in Krabi, Thailand.

Her work experience includes teaching Yoga and Pilates at the University of London Boat Club to both the men and women rowing squads. Including five students who were on the Great Britain rowing team. She also taught yoga and Pilates at Tideway Sculling School to both the women's and juniors' squads. Her teaching experience also includes teaching yoga in an office environment and to a variety of private clients.

Liza has taught yoga in Thailand to the specialized needs of rock climbers and in New York to private students of different ages and capabilities. In LA, she teaches yoga for children at Sunshine Preschool and Rana's Arts Club in Santa Monica and is also involved in Tara Gruber's Yoga Ed program. She has a variety of private yoga and mat Pilates students.
