Katharine Wexler M.A. L. M.F.T.

has been a Core Faculty member at Phillips Graduate Institute since 1978. She teaches Abnormal Psychology, Human Growth and Development, and Legal and Ethical Issues for Marriage and Family Therapists. She has also been involved administratively at Phillips as the Curriculum Director and liaison with WASC. (The Western Association of Schools and Colleges which accredits academic institutions.)

Ms. Wexler is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She has a private practice and does clinical supervision at the California Family Counseling Center in Encino, which is affiliated with Phillips Graduate Institute.

Wexler is also known throughout California for her study materials and workshops in preparation for the MFT licensing exam. She has been MFT Program Director since 1978 for the Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences, which offers licensure review courses to psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and nurses.
